On a sad note'

Yacht Designer Olin James Stephens II (April 13, 1908 – September 13, 2008)
has been described as the best-known and most successful yacht designer of the 20th century.

He celebrated his 100th birthday last April but he has now sailed on, dying in the USA.

But he did get to see Anna.....
How does she sail, and how does she look?
Bob Stevens answered the first question. Based on her early trials, he said,
Anna “seems to sail really nicely. She’s well balanced.”
Olin Stephens answered the second question, and his answer must have delighted everyone connected with Anna’s design and construction.
Standing on the float where Anna lay just minutes after her launching Stephens looked at the boat and said, “It looks great to me….”
